Connecto enters into contracts with Elektrilevi worth 11.86 million
Elektrilevi entered into framework contracts totalling approximately 40 million euros for performing work on networks in six regions of Estonia up to 2022.
Partners will start performing line maintenance, construction and repairs, and eliminating faults in the power grid in Ida-Viru, Lääne-Viru, Järva, Rapla, Hiiumaa and Saaremaa and the eastern part of Harju County. “Faults in the Elektrilevi grid have nearly halved in the last five years, which means that it is not reasonable to stay in constant readiness in-house for such purposes. Contracting out various types of work for partners will help us to operate more efficiently and allow partner companies to plan and manage workflow better as well,” said the head of the construction division at Elektrilevi, Kristo Külljastinen.
As a result of the international procurement, Elektrilevi entered into six contracts. AS KH Energia-Konsult along with OÜ Pluvo will start performing work on the network in eastern Harju County, OÜ Elrek-Mont in Ida-Viru County, OÜ Arendus & Haldus together with Empower AS in Lääne-Viru County, AS Connecto Eesti in Järva and Rapla counties, and Empower AS in Hiiumaa and Saaremaa.
