Construction works of Kehra city street lighting are started
AS Connecto Eesti signed a contract with Anija Parish to reconstruct the street light infrastructure in Kehra city and Ülejõe and Lehtmetsa villages with the total cost of 395 760 Euros.
The investment financed by Estonian Environmental Investment Centre from European Cohesion Fund will be used for reconstructing 598 lighting points. During the construction, LED lighting and poles for new lighting are installed and the infrastructure connected to the street lighting is renewed. As the result of the investment, the lighting system will be electric energy and CO₂ exhaust efficient, more reliable and will provide for a safer city environment. The finished works are planned to be handed over to the contracting authority in November 2020. The project manager in Connecto is Toomas Kibus.
