Estonia’s network electricians went head-to-head at the national skills championship—and Connecto’s team rose to the top, clinching an impressive second place in a highly competitive field. Our winning team featured Raido Animägi, Marek Bergmann and Juhan Tamme, with Karl-Martin Müür as their coach.
This year’s competition spanned seven disciplines, covering a wide range of medium- and low-voltage overhead line tasks, cable line assembly, and work on medium- and low-voltage switchgear in substations. Participants were also tested on their first aid skills and challenged with a creative task that assessed their ability to identify electrical hazards and respond effectively in dangerous situations.
The skills competition highlights the critical importance of safety in electrical work and offers electricians a chance to test their expertise and raise the overall quality of their craft. It’s also a platform to recognise and celebrate top professionals in the field.
Beyond that, the event helps inspire the next generation by showcasing just how important—and exciting—the profession of a network electrician can be. For many, it could be the gateway to a future filled with challenges, growth opportunities, and meaningful work.
We are proud of our team—and of everyone in the field—who carries out this vital work every single day!
