In the course of the project, we built a 20 kV cable network between the wind turbines with fibre-optic communication links (total length of cables 60 km), a 110/20 kV substation for the wind farm with storage and living facilities for the maintenance team, and a 110 kV substation with 110 kV overhead line connections to connect the wind farm to the Latvian transmission grid (AST). The work included testing and commissioning of the entire wind farm’s power system (including grid testing of the wind farm).
