Connecto, in cooperation with Smartecon, is constructing Raba Solar Park in Pärnu County. The developers of the solar park are the renewable energy producer Sunly and the company Metsagrupp. The total capacity of the solar park is 45 megawatts and its estimated output will be enough to cover the annual energy consumption of nearly 14,000 average Estonian households.
Connecto scope includes building solar park cabling, design and construction medium voltage cable network, 110/20kV substation cable network and 110/20kV substation. Total of 18 km 1kV solar park cables and 24 km of medium voltage and communication cables will be installed to connect solar park to the substation. Connecto will also design and build Elering substation for connecting solar park.
The expected completion date of the solar park is spring 2024. The total cost of the project is approximately 7.2 million euros.
