In August, the transactions were finalised with the merger of the electrical division of AS Merko Infra and OÜ Elrek-Mont with AS Connecto Estonia. The company will continue to operate under the Connecto brand.
As a result of the merger, the company’s projected turnover increased to €45 million and Connecto’s workforce grew by 58 to almost 350 employees. With the addition of new employees, our competences were strengthened, especially in the field of design, construction and installation of high-voltage substations. The company also increased its capacity to provide construction and repair services for low and medium voltage electricity networks in Virumaa. As a result of the merger, both the project management and the financial capacity of the company improved, creating the readiness to participate in major projects in both Estonian and foreign markets.
